RAY LC creates speculative narratives in diverse media about the way humans adapt to technologies. His practice creates interaction and narrative environments for building bonds between humans and machines. He takes perspectives from his own research in neuroscience (Nature, J. Neurosci) and HCI (CHI, DIS, HRI, CSCW) in his artistic practice, with exhibitions at BankArt, New York Hall of Science, Ars Electronica Linz, Saari Residency, New Museum, NeurIPS, Angewandte Festival, Osage Gallery, Elektron Tallinn, Elektra Montreal, Videotage, Goethe Institute, Hong Kong Arts Centre, PMQ, Science Gallery Detroit, IEEE VISAP, SIGGRAPH Asia, Kyoto Design Lab. RAY founded Studio for Narrative Spaces.

CK FUNG is a digital artist with a versatile skill set encompassing augmented reality filter creation, photography, and photo manipulation art. Her journey began with a strong foundation in AR/VR design, graphic design, 3D modeling, photography, videography, and post-production. CK’s expertise in crafting augmented reality filters for prominent social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok has garnered an impressive 10 billion views globally. Additionally, her artistic endeavors in photography and digital art have graced exhibitions across various international locations including the US, South Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Switzerland. In the current project, CK takes on multifaceted responsibilities, ranging from AR filter design and 3D modeling to concept development and conducting in-person interviews.

CHUNLEI GONG graduated from Shanghai Second Technical University with a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Technology. Now, she is studying for a Master of Fine Art in Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong. She specializes in building 3D environments and virtual spaces for art practice. Her artworks always think about social issues and try to find solutions. In this exhibition, she is responsible for 3D model processing and the AR effect of 3D printed models.

JIAYI SU is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Industrial and Interaction Design at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been previously showcased at art exhibitions in Guangzhou. In the current project, Jiayi Su holds a multifaceted role, encompassing the creation of stories and commentaries, image selection, the development of a dedicated project website, and the production of video content for the exhibition.

LI CHEN, a healing artist currently studying MFA at City University of Hong Kong, has a unique perception of life as a result of his long and mobile upbringing, and is good at capturing the subtle flow of emotions. His works are based on his own practice of living, straying from the boundary between reality and virtual reality, and centred on the themes of identity, intimacy, and karma, focusing on psychological issues brought about by the rapid development of the post-modern society. The work has been exhibited in London, Athens, and the United States. His works have been presented in important exhibitions in London, Athens, New York, South Korea and Shanghai and have won awards. In this exhibition, he is responsible for the video production, interview experiment, photo processing and review screening of City Walk.

RUISHAN WU, holding a BEng in Industrial Design and an MFA in Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong, excels in digital visuals, hardware manufacturing, and user experience. She contributed significantly to the Urban Walk project, managing the interaction of the drawing robot and Exhibition Implementation. Her creative pursuits focus on machine learning, data visualization, and human-computer interaction, blending technical proficiency with artistic insight to create boundary-pushing works.

CARMAN WONG began the quest of following the path of what human has been made — advanced technology. Growing up in rural and urban places, educated in Hong Kong and Germany, aware of today’s behavior and environment, physical or online, will continue to affect how the world will be. In hope as human, we learn from the past and know what future hold is still in our hands.

BOWEN LIU, AI-artist, is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Experimental Art at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works have been exhibited at art shows in Beijing. His creative scope encompasses generative art, mechanical installations, painting, and various other mediums of expression.
